AAA Four-Diamond Award
2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010

AAA Four Diamond winners consistently deliver a luxury experience, complete with a high level of service, amenities, and impressive surroundings.

With only 691 restaurants on the 2005 Four Diamond Award winners list, AAA Four Diamond properties represent a small percentage of all AAA Approved properties. Just 3.1 percent of the more than 55,000 AAA Approved restaurants and hotels are awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation each year.

Langdon's Restaurant & Wine Bar is the only Mt. Pleasant restaurant to receive this prestigious award.

Post and Courier 2005 Restaurant of the Year Guide 2005 - "Best Special Night Out East of the Cooper"

"Class must be Langdon's chef/owner Patrick Owens' middle name. The restaurant's crisp, hip interior is classically black and white. It feels so much more sophisticated and special than its strip mall location would suggest. The food's the same way. The self-taught chef puts his talented stamp on beautifully prepared dishes with an eclectic blend of influences from Asian to Southern. He recently updated the menu to include venison and veal dishes, but decided to keep old favorites at the 2-yearold restaurant. Some of these include an arugula salad with caramelized Bosc pear, goat cheese and a bacon shallot vinaigrette and chile dusted escolar over succotash with citrus brown butter. Hungry yet? You can expect excellent service and a fabulous wine list here, too."
